Everything You Need to Know About MPI Sports
What is MPI Sports?
MPI stands for Metrics, Performance, and Insights—and we’re redefining how youth athletic potential is measured. Our mission is simple but powerful: empower every athlete with data-driven clarity to unlock their full potential. We use standardized testing to evaluate Speed, Power, and Agility, giving athletes, parents, and coaches real numbers, real insight, and real results.
What makes MPI different from other sports testing or training programs?
MPI is not training. It’s transformation through data. We don’t guess. We don’t hype. We measure with precision. Unlike traditional programs, MPI provides fully standardized, portable, and objective evaluations using validated drills and digital timing equipment. We are the independent gold standard for youth athletic benchmarking.
Who should use MPI Sports—and why?
- Athletes gain an edge with verified metrics that drive improvement and visibility.
- Parents get clarity and confidence in their child’s development journey.
- Coaches unlock new levels of team analysis and training customization.
- Organizations benefit from transparent evaluations and powerful performance data for team development and fairness.
What athletic qualities does MPI measure?
MPI evaluates Speed, Power, and Agility—the three pillars of elite performance.
Here’s how we break it down:- Speed: 10-Yard Dash, ¾ Court Sprint, 40-Yard Dash
- Power: Vertical Jump, Broad Jump, Max Pushups
- Agility: 5-10-5 Shuttle (Pro Agility), Lane Agility Drill, L-Drill
Every test is mapped to real-world game movements, so we’re not just measuring performance, we’re capturing what matters on the field, court, or ice.
What is the MPI Score?
The MPI Score is a composite benchmark score derived from your performance in Speed, Power, and Agility.
It’s percentile-based, meaning it tells you exactly where you stand compared to your peers.
- It’s coach-readable
- Shareable with recruiters
- Trackable over time
- Built to spotlight talent
Your score becomes your blueprint for improvement and your passport to the next level.
How does MPI ensure fairness and accuracy in testing?
MPI uses fully standardized protocols and digital timing gates to ensure every test is accurate, unbiased, and repeatable. We eliminate variability so your results reflect only one thing: your performance.
